They say that your identity should be about who you are, not what you do. They also say not to sweat the small stuff. They may not know any goldsmiths. I am a goldsmith. It pretty much defines who I am, so that's what I write about, primarily. I was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but it never felt like home. I have lived in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for more than half my life, now, and it most emphatically does. The city has treated me well and I am constantly awed by its beauty.
Speaking of which, there's my wife of thirty-odd years, J.C.Paulson, also an author (check her out), who was the indirect impetus for me putting my so-called book out there.
I like to take pictures, but I'm not a photographer. I like to play guitar and harmonica, but I'm not a musician. And I like to write, but I'm not an author. Oh, wait. I guess I am.
Enjoy.
