Marla Buttars

Marla Buttars wrote her first book at ten. The rather melodramatic tale didn't win any awards but did start her obsession with pen and paper. After dabbling in more practical careers as a bloodsucker and mad scientist, she switched to writing fantasies that delve into the darker corners of human nature. When not busy worldbuilding epic tales and torturing her characters, she can be found training future evil masterminds, dragging her very patient husband to obscure locations in the name of research, and burning dinner. A mountain girl at heart, she currently fends off mosquitoes in the humid midwest.

Siren’s Snare, her first published work, is featured in the Mind Games Anthology.
