Delbert Young

Delbert Young began Life Gate Church and was the lead pastor of Life Gate Church for thirty years. Pastor Young is originally from Miami, Florida, and grew up and lived in Griffin, Georgia, before moving to LaFayette, Georgia.

Pastor Young earned an Associate's degree in Accounting, an Associate's degree in Business Administration, an Associate's degree in Biblical studies, and a Bachelor's degree in Theology along with other ministerial and theological citations.

Pastor Young has written many books published by Life Gate Church used as study guides for many of his teachings. He has directed and been in television programs for the local area along with radio programs and a daily radio spot. His sermons are published weekly on the Life Gate Church website, Sermons Change the World website, and Sermons By Delbert Young website. All are free to download.

Pastor Young has been married to his wife and helper in the ministry, Judy, since 1967. He has a son and a daughter, both are married with four grandsons.
