Stephen Creskoff writes, speaks and consults regarding international business and international trade. He has worked in more than 50 countries around the world and particularly enjoys meeting people of different cultures. He strongly believes that increasing international trade improves national economies and lessens the chances of military conflicts and terrorism. Stephen wrote his book,"What You Need to Know to Go Global", to help smaller businesses participate in international trade.
Stephen is a lawyer and leading expert on international trade transactions, trade facilitation, and the legal foundation for international trade. Over his career, Stephen has worked as a trade lawyer and senior trade consultant for many international businesses, the World Bank, US Government agencies, and other governments in more than 50 countries around the world.
Stephen is also the author of many academic and research publications regarding international trade and taught as a adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University and American University in Washington, D.C. and at Pericles School of Law in Moscow, Russia. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and holds graduate degrees in law from the University of Maryland and Georgetown University. He currently lives in Ashburn, Virginia, USA.
