Kenneth Harris

Ken Harris. is an award winning filmmaker, screenwriter, journalist, puppeteer, and AARP Digital Fraud Fighter.

Ken is the first American Puppeteer to spread cyber security awareness and fraud prevention on a web series on the Spondulics TV broadcast network with his program "Cyber Brats" at https://www.spondulics.org.

His first short film, "That Gone Darn Scam", a story inspired by a real life grandparent scam, was the 2021 Audience Choice Award Winner at the F-5 Financial Focus FilmFest in Orlando, Florida. Other short films have appeared in virtual puppet slams and film festivals across the country and throughout Canada. In 2021, Ken won the 2022 grand prize for the Holyoke Entrepreneurial For All pitch contest.

Ken is dedicated to more spreading fraud prevention and cyber security awareness with his latest Spondulics web series, "Scamtropolis", a program that highlights reenactments of reported fraud cases.

His mission is to take what he learns from his previous employment in policing, corrections, the courts, along with ongoing training from the AARP Fraud Watch Network to help others with information to be proactive in safeguarding data. He hopes to encourage others to stay safe ​in the never-ending challenge imposed by scammers in our growing technological world.
