Caitlin Mazur writes thrillers, horror, and dystopian fiction about underdogs who are underestimated, overlooked, or pushed aside, and what happens when they rise and discover their true strength.

A lifelong storyteller, Caitlin began writing on her parents’ old computer and never stopped. Her works include a variety of shorts published in multiple anthologies, a horror novella, and a four-part dystopian thriller series. For Caitlin, speculative fiction isn’t just about escaping into other worlds. It’s about holding a mirror up to ourselves, asking hard questions, and finding hope and power in unexpected places.

When she’s not writing, Caitlin lives her best life in Central Maine. She’s a freelance writer, a wife, a mom to two amazing kids, and the caretaker of a small menagerie including dogs, cats, a bearded dragon, and chickens.
