Kadee Stein was born in a small Hill Country town in Texas and raised on a farm by her parents with an older brother. Though she had a rocky beginning she went on in life to become a radio deejay for KIKY 92.1FM and then a volunteer fire fighter, EMT and Public Information Officer for the Northshore Fire Department. However, her true and lasting loves are that of being a mother to four boys, grandmother to eight grandchildren, three daughter-in-laws and married for 30 years to her husband, Shaun. An empty-nester now her favorite past times are the country life (gardening, goats, chickens), volunteering for a equine therapy ranch, volunteering as a radio host for the Jesus Country Show and last - but certainly not least - writing (usually for a Meetup Group she founded entitled; "Get a Clue Creative Writing Prompts https://www.meetup.com/Get-a-Clue-Creative-Prompt-Writing/about/).
Kadee's passions are writing and speaking to youth groups and prison ministry groups where she shares her testimony. This book, Honey for the Wounded: Oh What a Sweet Life: Overcoming Sexual Abuse has, as of February 2018, been accepted into eight prison libraries. KaDee's mission is to donate her book into as many prison libraries as possible.
