Jules Ernest PAUL

Jules Ernest PAUL is a remarkable man who has successfully juggled multiple jobs in his lifetime. He is a former dancer, a French expressionist painter, a pastor, and an author, with several books published in recent years. His unique and extraordinary journey deserves to be documented and told people around the world, especially those who are struggling and are uncertain about their future.

Currently, he has an Instagram account under the handle of “julesernestpaul,” where he gives updates on his work life, especially the different sermons that he conducts. He has an impressive following of more than twenty-five thousand people which shows that what he preaches is important and people do listen to him and take his advice to heart.

Jules is of Haitian origin and was born in Haiti’s capital city, Port-au-Prince. he was born on January 5, 1954. He was involved in different forms of arts from a very young age and started his career as a professional dancer in the 70s. He became very popular in his country and received much acclaim. However, one day, a friend made him realize that he would not able to continue dancing all lifelong because of it being a very physically demanding job. This got Jules thinking and he ultimately decided to change his career.

Thus, in 1976, Jules embraced the career of a painter. His constant change of style and the thought and care that goes into each artwork makes him an exceptional painter. For him, “painting is an act of love, faith, hope, but also pain.” His paintings are truly beautiful and act as a reflection of his own feelings and experiences. In 1980, Jules experienced another major change in his life that made him the man that he is today.

He met a young Christian girl and fell in love with her. She showed him the way to the church and opened his eyes to a new way of living, where everything, including money, is considered ephemeral. He then converted to Christianity and officially accepted Jesus Christ as his Personal Savior. He continued his artistry; however, he stopped painting some pictorial subjects which he felt were not compatible with his new belief system. Now, he uses his art as a way to articulate and express his love for God and the human race.

After converting, Jules spent a few years at Bible school and then, in 1985, became a pastor. He devoted his life to teaching and spreading the word of God and has been doing this for more than thirty years. He currently works as the rhetorician, director, and founder of the biblical correspondence courses of the Evangelical Ephrata Center. The center’s head office is located in Plaisir in the Yvelines area of Paris.

The goal of this venture is to spread the teachings of Christianity across Paris and other cities of France. This is to be done not just on private premises, but also through social media. That is why Jules is quite active on Instagram and YouTube as those are the main two platforms that he posts his speeches and sermons on.

Jules has lived an extremely busy and rewarding life. He is also the author of multiple books regarding Christianity, all of which are currently available on Amazon. He is married and has three lovely daughters. Just the fact that he is still able to preach Christianity and make meaningful art shows his tenacity and his strong sense of self.

In his interview, he said that he was “called to be useful to the world and not to be served by it.” This is why he tries hard to help people wherever he can, be it on social media or in person. He never thinks of it as a burden and feels that it further enriches his life.
