Deona Jacobs

Deona Jacobs was born in eastern Ukraine. In 2016, an American family adopted her and she moved to the United States. Deona started drawing sketches on scrap pieces of paper while in Sunday school at church. Her mother collected the scraps of paper and encouraged Deona to put the artwork into her computer. Deona,a high school student, is a beautiful artist and budding musician. She loves to shoot baskets, cross stitch, knit, fold paper (origami), play guitar, and go for long walks in her spare time. Deona is fluent in the Ukrainian, Russian, and English languages. She has translated several children's books from English into the Russian language since 2016. "Take a Little Break" is Deona's first coloring book. Independently published by Greenbelly Studios in 2017.
