Sandreka Y. Brown

Sandreka is a teacher, author, speaker, and coach. While teaching, she decided to leverage her unique passion for teachers into writing, speaking, and coaching. This passion stemmed from witnessing and experiencing the lack of support and constant point of blame for teachers. She wanted to be a part of the solution and find a way to edify teachers because teachers are a vital entity to students' success. She believes if we keep teachers empowered, motivated, and supported then this will create better classrooms so that students will be empowered, motivated, and supported.

Sandreka entered the teaching profession after 4 years of being a radiographer. Although she knew as a teenager that she wanted to teach, she chose a career that would be more financially feasible. Feeling unfilled as a radiographer, she transitioned into the teaching profession in 2007.

In 2016, she transitioned to writing fiction short stories, and she released her first story, Recycled Love in March 2017.
