Michael D Ison

Michael D. Ison is the author of his best selling novel, GRANT'd. Michael uses his waning eyesight as a catalyst to gain a unique perspective and to present it to the world through his writing. Diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa in 2006, Michael began the process of completing his undergraduate studies in English and Bible while maintaining a career in distribution. In 2013, he became an English Language Arts teacher in North Texas and since published his writing. Michael claims that his three children are his primary inspiration for his writing, but his ever-narrowing sight provides his vision for his works.
