If you are reading this, you probably have two questions. "Who is this guy?" and "Why should I care?"

To be honest and fair with you dear reader, I don't especially enjoy talking about myself. It is my opinion that if the author of a novel were that interesting, one would be reading a biography rather than a work of fiction. But you're here, and you're still reading. So I should probably say something.

I once read a study about blind-dating. It stated that when one woman tries to set-up another, the latter's first question is almost always "What does he do?" When one man tries to set up another, the question is usually "What does she look like?" The situation with an author is not all that different. I have a face for radio, so I should probably talk about what I've done.

How much time do you have? I've had more jobs in more different fields than anyone I know. From food service to tech-support, from bouncer to entertainer, from warehouse work to firearms instructor. In my time I have met people of many different races, religions, creeds, and nationalities. If this experience has taught me anything, it is that every person is their own ongoing story. You can never understand that person, who they are and why, until you know that story. This is the understanding I try to bring to my work.

My stories are not for everyone. They are not for immature readers, and I would strongly discourage parents from allowing young children to read my work. Violence is quick, bloody, and unpleasant. My fights are detailed, graphic, and may be disturbing for some readers. Sexuality is a part of the human experience, and not a subject I shy away from if I believe it serves the narrative. The fictional societies I have created range from quasi-egalitarian, to overtly sexist, racist, and militaristic.

If you are offended by anything I have listed, then my work is not for you. I tell you this dear reader because I respect the value of your time, and your money. Just as I do not ask you to pay for my stories, until spending considerable funds out of my own pocket for professional editing. If what I have said turns you away then go in peace, and spend your time and money on something that will bring you more joy.

If you are still here, my work is waiting. I hope you enjoy.
