Dwayne O'Keith Burns

Dwayne O' Keith Burns has been an educator for more than 28 years. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in political science and public administration respectively, from the University of South Carolina and Golden Gate University, San Francisco. He is an Air Force veteran who served in the Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm. Throughout his life, he has had a wide variety of experiences ranging from being a teenaged nightclub performer to a newspaper reporter to holding a position in city government and dabbling in politics. This father of three, offers an honest, emotional, and passionate look at a life of struggle, tragedy and ultimate success...a life well lived.
