Phil McGowan

Phil McGowan is the Curator at the World Rugby Museum. He was born and raised in Rochdale. He graduated from University College London in 2007 and joined the Rugby Football Union later that year. He authored 'Twickenham; Home of England Rugby' in 2014, 'One Of Us: England’s Greatest Rugby Players' in 2015 and 'Doing their Duty: How England's rugby footballers helped win the First World War' in 2017. More recently he co-wrote '150 Years of England Rugby' in 2021.
