Sharon Minard

Sharon Minard is a certified professional Life and Career Coach and founder of Accelerate Coaching which is based out of the greater Boston area. She specializes in personal and professional growth with a goal of helping individuals to achieve their God-given potential.

Formerly, Sharon served as Director of Career Services for Liberty University, the largest non-profit university in the United States. As Career Director, she helped thousands of students realize their natural abilities, talents, skills, interests and personality type; and then directed them into appropriate and fulfilling careers. Sharon communicated through individual counseling sessions as well as large audience presentations on such topics as: choosing a major, personality and skills evaluations, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and success in the workplace. She also worked with alumni who were in career transition. She loved seeing lives changed by taking simple but deliberate steps.

Sharon has now broadened her focus to professional Life Coaching in order to cultivate change in individuals at a much deeper level. She has a Masters degree in Counseling and Life Coaching. She was also trained and certified at the Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching. In addition, Sharon has received Leadership and Healthcare Coach Training through the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School. Sharon also routinely attends life coaching conferences and studies cutting-edge research to improve her knowledge and techniques.
