Scott Seifried

Scott Seifried was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Shortly after completing a degree in guitar performance at Carnegie Mellon University, he relocated to Virginia. He has been teaching classroom guitar at James W. Robinson Jr. Secondary School in the Fairfax County Public School System since 1991.

Scott has served on the American String Teacher's Association Guitar in the Schools Committee, the National Association for Music Education Council for Guitar Education, and was a member of the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards subcommittee for Harmonizing Instruments. He is also a clinician for the Guitar and Accessories Marketing Association's Teaching Guitar Workshops.
