Philip R. Jordon

Philip R. Jordon was born in New York City on May 22, 1937 to Greek parents who were immigrants from the island of Cyprus. He spent his formative years in Norfolk, Virginia where he enjoyed putting on "plays" for the neighborhood kids. He was the all-star cast. Stories centered mostly around westerns and adventure movies which had an impact on his desire to write.

When the family moved to California, the acting bug infected him and he wanted to star in Hollywood movies (as most young ones aspire). To that end, he took drama in school and enjoyed the experience immensely. Although his dreams as an actor did not come true, Philip engaged in writing stage plays. He submitted these to theaters with no success. But he did not give up. The author saw the opportunity to rewrite these stories into novels, which have been published on Amazon.

His favorite was "The Serenade of the Old Cabaret." This is the story of a young couple in France, who during the period leading up to and including the Second World War, outwitted the Nazis by using their cabaret as a channel of escape for Jews and others. This saga is filled with suspense, emotion and triumph amidst tragedy.

Other novels by Philip R. Jordon are: "Antonio and Babbs," which follows the development of a relationship between a beautiful blonde girl and an Italian exchange student. Theirs is a unique relationship which begins in high school and ends some 20 years later after the couple reunite when the circumstances they encounter are quite different.

In addition, Mr. Jordon would like to recommend two of his other books entitled "The Prince of Ramath," and "The Cold Dreary Days of Misty Valley." He recommends that you take the time to examine these publications and their descriptive content under Amazon books.

Mr. Jordon presently lives in the state of Wyoming with his wife, where he enjoys the quiet atmosphere which is conducive to his writing other novels he wishes to share with his readers. These are human interest stories which highlight the enduring spirit of humans as they face a variety of challenges in their lives.
