I was born in a small town, Chillicothe, Texas. Not many have heard of this small town, but I'm proud to have lived there for a bit, till I was three to be exact, then we moved to another small town: Sweetwater, Texas, maybe some of you have heard of that town. I have always loved to read, and Mom would place notes on stuffed animals and give them names and such growing up. I think that's where I noticed the fun in giving a 'voice' to make-believe things. I began writing in the 90's while I was working for Dell Computers. I always wanted to entertain folks of all ages with what I could conjure up in my mind-no matter how far-fetched it sounded. I have a great support group of friends and family that encourage me. I admit I can be a "sourpuss" and or "scaredy cat" when it comes to putting myself out there, but with their help and "kick my butt if I don't" attitude succeed in writing enjoyable, fun, and entertaining reads.

I love chocolate, coffee and cats...not necessarily in that order, my three "C's" that you can also bet most of my books, if not all of them, will have one or all three "C's" in them. I've loved all three ever since I can remember and I do know I started drinking coffee with Dad since I was in a high-chair, that was a long time ago! Chocolate, I think I was born with that in my mouth, to tell you the truth, and cats, well, my friends would tell you I was probably a cat in my past life (if I had one). I work in a library, I've always worked, and or volunteered in libraries-it's who I am. And, yes, we have a library cat named Charlotte and she has her very own Facebook page. My cat, who I lovingly refer to as "Baby," she's my inspiration in all my books, she was 20 years old when I lost her on June 12, 2023. I'm forever grateful to her for being there for me for all those years; inspiring me every day to create and share our adventures with readers. She was my superhero cat~daughter most of all, and I will always miss her and her awesome 'TortieAttitude!' She'll forever be my little Soulmate. Till we meet again over the Rainbow Bridge, "Baby."
