Rosie Lowe was born in 1963 and grew up in Bolton, UK. She was an avid reader and enthusiastic scribbler from an early age. Worked in retail, travel and newspaper advertising sales (with a year out living in Cairo as an au pair.) Lived in Ireland for almost two decades and attends creative writing classes. Her first book, “The Labradorable Tails” was published in April 2017. This was a canine retelling of, “The Canterbury Tales” by Chaucer, as told by “Chuck” the black Labrador. Held three book launches locally and toured local schools reading to pupils. Her second book, “Chuck Mayo” is near completion and tells of the elusive Sam Maguire Cup returning to County Mayo after 66 painful years. She was delighted to sign up for the fabulous “Fighting Words” charity as a volunteer recently.
