Timothy Smith

TM Smith is a pro-millennial author, speaker and advocate for daring mighty things. He encourages others to do the same. TM is also the CEO and owner of Skidmore Studio a design shop in Detroit, Mi. As a life-long risk-taker, TM seeks to help millennial entrepreneurs find the path that helps them achieve success.

When Tim was 12 he bought a hot pink bike. Why? Because it was the only one like it. And because someone told him not to. That bike — and rulebreaker spirit — became his calling card. He grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, honing his philosophy of “dare mighty things” through practical application. Soon enough he graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in journalism and an uncanny ability to ruffle feathers.

His philosophy, curiosity, and entrepreneurial spirit helped him to make the jumps from journalist to marketer to studio owner. In 2007, he became the sole owner of Skidmore Studio and applied his own belief of daring mighty things to create extraordinary work.
