An avid student of history with a Masters in Creative Writing, Malcolm David Logan is the author of the Amulet Series about the Fall of the Roman Empire. The first book in the series, The Wind in the Embers, is a prestigious 2024 finalist for the Chanticleer International Book Awards' Chaucer Award for Early Historical Fiction.

Malcolm’s hilarious memoir Confessions of an Uber Driver recounts his experiences as a rideshare driver in Chicago, and his travel blog My American Odyssey explores the little known and fascinating true stories about cities and towns across the US.

When he’s not researching or writing, Malcolm is traveling across Europe and North America, skiing, hiking, climbing, and cycling.
