Phil Ayres

Phil Ayres is an author, pastor, and radio host who has spent more than two decades helping people understand the Bible and apply its truth to everyday life. He serves as Lead Pastor of LifePoint Christian Church just north of Orlando, Florida, where he has been part of the church and its community for more than 20 years.

His books combine biblical truth, everyday experiences, and a pastoral voice that makes faith practical and accessible. They include Flannel-Graph Jesus, Little Lessons from the Fairway, The Back Nine, and Rebuilding What Matters Most: What Nehemiah Can Teach Us About Faith, Courage, and Renewal.

When he isn’t writing or preaching, Phil can often be found on a golf course, where he has discovered that the game has a surprising amount to teach us about patience, perspective, failure, and grace.

Phil has been married to his college sweetheart, Stefanie, since 1992. They have two grown children and make their home in Central Florida.
