J M Ryan was born and raised in New England. She developed a love of books at a young age, and identifies as an avid reader and sometimes writer. Broken Girls is her debut novel. When she isn't writing, she's most likely taking far too many pictures of her dog, wishing she owned a home in England, or mentally sorting her friends into Hogwarts' houses.
