Daniel Ignatius

Daniel Ignatius is a native of New Jersey, where he spent his early years along the Jersey shore at a time when town populations were still measured in hundreds and there were more trees than there were paving stones. A child in those days was as likely to encounter a snapping turtle as a dog on his walk to school and it was certain that every adult in town knew his name, or at least what family he belonged to.

His conversion to faith came at an early age, prompting him to spend his high school years doing boardwalk and prison ministry and singing in a contemporary Christian rock band, before heading off to seminary. He eventually earned degrees in Theology/Pastoral Studies and Behavioral Sciences as well as a Masters in Technology Management, and has spent 30 years in the publishing, technology and healthcare industries.

While writing has long been a passion, his first novel was the result of a twenty year journey, writing nights and weekends as time and inspiration allowed. These years of experience come through in his stories, which have an easy conversational style that captivates readers and engulfs them in his characters’ experiences, conveying a deeply emotional connection that seems intimate and personally relevant.
