Hi, I'm Jillian Murphy! I love dancing, shopping, and talking about Jesus. Spending quality time with people I love is time well spent (and if there is food involved that’s definitely a plus)! Taking a moment to soak in everything around me and belly laughing through life is where you'll find me. I was born in Oklahoma, but raised in Texas! I am one of four kids and my mama is my inspiration, role model, and best friend. Oh and I have a sweet puppy named Jonah!
I always introduce myself as “Just Jillian.” I know it’s because I see how big and awesome of a God I serve. I am super blessed that He chose me to use as a vessel. I strive to use each moment of my life to reflect His love for people. I love speaking and writing about what God has taught me in my life so far. My goal is to inspire other women to live an authentic life as a Christian that inspires non-believers to trust in Christ. We have all messed up but we have a God that wants to scoop us up right where we are!
I realized my call to ministry during the Summer of 2014 on a mission trip to Washington, D.C. The following fall, I followed God’s plan for my life by interning at a women’s safe house in Dallas, TX, Restored Hope Ministries. Currently, my long term goal is to establish a women’s safe house on the foundation of Jesus Christ and having a free health clinic as an extension of that safe house.
God allowed me to publish my first book “The Four Seasons of Hope” in July 2016, while I was still in high school. In 2017, Mike Rodriguez asked me to join him as a co-author for "A Bigger Purpose" and I had the opportunity to write a chapter about “The Power of Prayer.” Most recently, I released my new best-selling faith- based book "This is WHY" in June 2017. Through ministry, I continue to use my gift of writing to encourage believers and convince non-believers to trust Him.
I have fallen head over heels in love with ministering to women. My favorite part is being able to pour all that I have learned into those around me. I fully believe that we are all like cups: we should be filled with the Word of God and pour out as we disciple others. My goal is to always have someone pouring into me and simultaneously I pour into others so that name of Jesus is proclaimed.
My ultimate goal is to keep pointing others towards Christ and I continually pray “less of me and more You, Lord”. I strive to keep spreading the good news of Jesus Christ, while trying to live a life as a reflection of Him. Stay tuned for my journey!
