SHAWN PRYOR’S (he/him) work includes Kaiju Unleashed, The Great Explorer of Mammoth Cave: A Graphic Novel Biography of Stephen Bishop, the hi/lo reader superhero series The Gamer, the mystery graphic novel series Cash and Carrie, Who Is Shaun White, multiple books for Capstone’s Jake Maddox series, Graphic Library, the Kids Sports Stories series, and the upcoming middle-grade graphic novel Fast Break (FSG Books, 2026) with illustrator Del Hahn.

In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, playing video games, listening to streaming music playlists, and talking about why Zack from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is the greatest Black superhero of all time.
