Zelda Okia

Zelda Okia, MD is a forensic pathologist / medical examiner, speaker, and author. When not autopsying dead bodies to find out why people have died she enjoys developing her creative pursuits and is currently working to complete her first novel of fiction.

Her current book, Zombie Effects How Good Kids Get Hooked on Drugs and How to Help was inspired by the many young people that died from heroin and opiate overdoses while working as a medical examiner in Wisconsin. Unfortunately the epidemic has become a crisis with no apparent end in sight.

She advocates for parents and is currently developing a course / workbook to help them implement necessary measures to take back leadership in their homes and create lives they can be proud of and leave a viable legacy for their children.
