Ryan Watson

I'm an actor at heart, writer by trade, wine aficionado and dog whisperer on weekends. Unfortunately, I was forced to retire from my first love after several elves staged a coup d'état following my 7th grade play. Santa and his narrator were never heard from again.

When I'm not at my desk, I'm most likely exploring Denver's parks or museums or sharing coffee or wine with friends. Eventually, I want to learn to learn to play the cello, improve my painting and hone my cheesecake crafting skills.

Ernest Hemingway is my idol. It wasn't his pursuit of big game or the perfect martini that appealed to me. It was his desire to craft the perfect sentence. That one sentence that transcends time and is appreciated long after we are gone.

Hemingway's 'short and to the point' writing style is a passion of mine. So was his pursuit of the fullness of life's experiences. If I can live a life half as rich as his, I'll consider myself a lucky man.
