Dave's a retired family physician, a glob-trotting medical educator - and now, a novelist.

Later in life, he's re-discovered a love of, and time for, creative writing. He's produced commentaries in the Hamilton Spectator (thespec.com), and two novels published by Story Merchant Books, Los Angeles: "A POTTER'S TALE," named the INDEPENDENT BOOK PUBLISHER'S 2021 DISTINGUISHED FAVORITE IN SCIENCE FICTION, and 'THE LAST IMMORTAL." His novels feature brilliant prose, and a love of unique global destinations.

He divides his time between Dundas, Ontario, and (when the damage from Ian is repaired) Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
