Dan P. Schaefer

Dan P. Schaefer is a semi-retired author, singer/songwriter, entrepreneur, investing enthusiast, independent record label owner/operator, lover of international travel, and former music and video industry sales and marketing professional. He declared financial independence upon publication of the popular saving and investing guide Me Against the Man: How the Guy Who Never Got Paid Much Shocked the World by Retiring Early, and How You Can Too! in early 2017. His second non-fiction book The Gay Jungle: A Beginner's Guide to Navigating Life as a Gay Guy followed in July of the same year, and a borderline-racy novel was later published under a top-secret pen name. His six full-length albums are available via iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, and most other fine music retailers. More new albums, novels, and adventures are always in the works. He shares a small mountainside Mexican home with his husband Dave and their cool black cat Rico in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and maintains close ties to a previous and continuing life in Nashville, Tennessee.
