Lisa Cox

Lisa has been a school counselor/teacher for many decades. She is also the mother of three young men. With humor and courage, she is battling Parkinson’s Disease and punching back the symptoms with all her might. She is a regular attender of Rock Steady Boxing program for people with Parkinson’s, and she has helped establish a non-contact boxing program for kids with challenges called First Punch. Lisa writes song lyrics and collaborates to write songs as a hobby. It is dangerous to go to a Humane Society with Lisa because she has such compassion for homeless animals. Someone might come home with an extra ball of fur!
