“Immensely enjoyable ….. The writing is glitteringly smart, the characters well-drawn and the milieu completely convincing. This is an excellent first novel.”

'The Irish Times'

“Lead White, secateurs-sharp and wickedly entertaining, dissects the art world and asks what is art?”

'The Sunday Independent'

“Lyons has the crime thriller down to a fine art ……. prologue delivers an opening punch which doesn’t fully land until the end of the book.”

'The Sunday Times' (Ireland edition)

"A critique of contemporary art hidden within a cockney crime caper, filled with sarcasm, irony and humour; like having a Guy Ritchie villain narrating a BBC Four documentary."

'The Irish Arts Review', summer 2018 edition

“A marvellously entertaining book about a world the author knows inside out.”

J.P. Donleavy, author of 'The Ginger Man'
