Neil Bowen

I'm an English teacher, Head of English, writer, education consultant and presenter with a particular interest in teaching poetry. After completing an English Literature degree at the University of Bristol and spending an unproductive year writing a never published radio comedy series, I became a teacher. Over the last two decades I've worked in a wide range of schools, including both state and private. I am a member of Ofqual's Experts' panel for English and completed a Masters degree at the University of Cambridge. In my spare time I enjoy sport, TV box sets, walking and theatre.
