Donna Elick

Donna and Chad Elick are the creators of the hugely popular website The Slow Roasted Italian, created in 2011, where millions of readers come every month in search of time-saving recipes. Since then, they have developed and photographed more than 1,000 recipes.

Donna is an author and recipe developer. She is a busy wife and mom with a passion for creating quick and easy meals that are bursting with flavor and made with as many real ingredients as possible. She is a self-taught cook who grew up on the sandy beaches in a little town in southwest Florida and found her husband and a love for bold flavors in Phoenix, Arizona. When Donna is not in the kitchen cooking, she loves gardening, party planning, traveling and spending time at home with Chad and their daughter.
