Mike Shipman

Mike Shipman is a full time freelance photographer, instructor, workshop leader, and a former wildlife biologist. He has been teaching photography to beginning and advanced students for over 15 years, has traveled around the the U.S. and internationally, and made photographs for a wide range of clients. His first book, The Ecology of Photography, combines his interest in photography, philosophy, and science to provide a new and different way for photographers and artists to approach how they perceive the world and their work.
