Simon is a member of the Australian Society of Authors.
Simon's first publication is an analysis of the Charles Manson murders through the lense of the trials. IN A SUMMER SWELTER: The Charles Manson Murders is available in e-book and print formats. The book is the first ever assessment of these events by an independent trial lawyer. It reveals, for the first time, the shockingly unethical conduct of the defence lawyers which led to Manson's female co-defendants not getting a fair trial. It also ties up many loose ends which have attended the story ever since the trials in 1971, including the precise role of the notorious Helter Skelter motive alleged by the prosecution.
