My husband and I are empty-nesters! We have two children, Chaz and Harley. Chaz and his wife, Leah, are serving at a church in Seattle, Washington. Harley is teaching fifth grade and serving at a church in Tampa, Florida. It is hard to have them so far away, but we are so thankful they are following the LORD’s leading in their lives!

Marc and I are active members of Temple Baptist Church in El Dorado, Kansas. He serves as a deacon and teaches the College and Career Sunday School class. We are both involved in the music ministries, although I always say, “I’m just making a joyful noise!” I also serve in various ladies ministries around the church and help with our ladies newsletter.

Writing for Him…has been my “tag line” since I started writing MANY years ago. If you google me, you might even stumble on some inspirational fiction that I wrote in the past. Now, my focus is on devotionals and Bible studies designed to encourage ladies in their walk with the Lord. I am the author of There’s a Fly in my Tea, Pullin’ Weeds Plantin’ Seeds, Arise Go and many other devotionals and articles on my social media accounts. I am also part of the Her Portion Podcast team, featuring short, weekly devotionals for Christian women.

I was a stay-at-home mom when my kids were babies. When they started school, I went back to school and became a teacher. After spending 20 years in education, most recently as an elementary reading specialist, I "retired" to focus more time on the ministry the LORD has given me. My hobbies include doing puzzles, exercising, and reading.
