T.H. Klassen

T.H. Klassen was born in Canada in 1974 to the son of a German immigrant and a daughter of the Caribbean. They met in the unlikely event of his father meeting his mother who was sprinting on a beach in St. Kitts.

He studied ancient Greek, Latin, and English composition in university, and continues voracious inquiry, from the history of philosophy and civilization from writers like Will Durant, Frederick Copleston, and Richard Tarnas, to of course the great works from the masters themselves.

He believes that the modern world is encapsulated in the works of Shakespeare, Michelangelo, and Beethoven. Aristotle and his line of teachers before him helped shape it. The rest is just details.

The details remain important, though. Without music, without jazz, and without a good dog, life would be a mistake.
