Michael Lessard-Clouston

Michael Lessard-Clouston is from Toronto, Canada, where he did most of his education. He served as Professor of Education and TESOL at Biola University in La Mirada, California until May 2026. He was founding editor of the International Journal of Christianity and English Language Teaching (available online via JSTOR) and much of his academic work is online at Academia and ResearchGate. His books include Specialized Vocabulary Learning and Use in Theology (Lambert Academic, 2009), Second Language Acquisition Applied to English Language Teaching (TESOL Press, 2018), and Teaching Vocabulary, Revised (TESOL Press, 2021).
