Engineer, inventor and developer, Reuven Nir is an innovative Israeli thinker whose developments have contributed much to the advancement of Israel’s industrial sector.
A lifelong member of Kibbutz Merchavia in Israel, he graduated his Chemistry and Technology of Polymers Studies from The London Polytechnic of the South Bank, in 1976 (today: South Bank University). Among his developments are cutting edge plastics production methods, innovative pulse extenders for excimer lasers, micro optical systems for PillCam capsules for visual examination of the gastrointestinal tract, and much more.
Reuven Nir’s writing is characterized by its incisive with and daring exploration of accepted scientific theories and assumptions. ‘Attraction – Secrets of Gravity’ is his first book translated into English.
