Zoë Cano

Zoë Cano, whose name means “Life”, is an adventurous traveller, writer and photographer.

Born in Hereford, England, in the 1960’s she moved to live and work in Paris for ten years before working in New York and finally, Boston, with extended periods in Brazil and Asia for the international events and exhibition business.

Zoë has led a life of extraordinary adventures. She started rowing competitively and took the challenge to skiff the entire length of the Thames from its source in the centre of England to Greenwich. She has crossed the Peruvian Andes on horseback, walked parts of the Wall of China, motorcycled several times solo (the first without any biking experience!) across and up and down the American continent and most recently drove solo in an old truck through Baja California for her latest book 'Chilli, Skulls & Tequila.'

Zoë now lives in London and is the author of the highly successful trilogy of travel books Bonneville Go or Bust – on the Roads Less Travelled, Southern Escapades & Chilli, Skulls & Tequila - Notes from Baja California.
