J. V. Speyer writes LGBTQ+ romance novels heavily flavored with suspense, mystery, and adventure. She likes characters whose paths have been bumpy and seeing them get their happily ever after.

JV has lived in upstate New York and rural Spain before making her home in the greater Boston area. She now lives just south of Boston in a home old enough to remember when her community was a tavern town with a farming problem. When not writing, she is a baseball fan, a hockey mom, and a devotee of everything weird and creepy about New England.
