Heather Milnes

Heather Milnes is a music teacher living and working in the beautiful Cotswolds area of the UK. She plays and teaches a wide range of instruments, including piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and drums, with her main focus on piano and flute.

Over a long and varied career, Heather has taught hundreds of children, teenagers and adults, from very young beginners taking their first steps at the keyboard to experienced and adult pianists seeking more musical and expressive repertoire. This breadth of teaching experience has inspired her to write clear, supportive and motivating music books, ranging from gentle beginner materials for young children to collections of pieces for more advanced and adult players.
