Tamara Miller

After decades of congregational work in synagogues across the country, Rabbi Tamara Miller served as the Director of Spiritual Care at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. In 2000, she founded The Capital Kehillah, the first outreach community for Jewish spirituality piloted by a female rabbi and housed at the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue. She is a fellow and an alumna of the New York City based think tank, CLAL’S Rabbis Without Borders Network. Rabbi Miller was ordained by the Academy for Jewish Religion whose pluralistic approach to Judaism crosses all denominational lines.
