Dunstan Carter

I'm an illustrator and collage artist based in Manchester, England. Over the past few years I've been doing lots of portrait commissions and design work for businesses and record labels across the UK. In 2014 I illustrated a poetry book for kids called, Alligator Snaps and August 2017 sees the release of The Haiku Zoo : Lion, a new kids book written by Mark Watson featuring my illustrations.

The majority of my work is organic. By that I mean there’s hardly any digital trickery, mainly because I'm not a huge fan of Photoshop, but also because I like the feel and smell of non-digital art. I like things slightly wonky and real - I enjoy working with pencils, pens, scissors and glue.
