Brad Hanson

Brad Hanson is a children's book writer based in the North Island of New Zealand. His background is photography and communications with a professional career of nearly 15 years, which included international assignments. He has left this behind to focus on his young family and pursue his passion for kid's picture books and stories.

From the author:

'Because I never really grew up, I think it has allowed me to conjure up characters and stories that are appealing to children and also fun loving adults. I daydream and take inspiration from almost anything. For instance, I'd be sitting in a cafe and I would spill my coffee. I would reach for a napkin and then find myself wondering if napkins actually take naps? I get silly thoughts like that in my head and next thing you know, I've written a story - 'The Sleepy Napkin!'
