Frederick Noland

Fred Noland began his career during the '90s mini comic boom. He has produced a series of increasingly innovative and eccentric minis including the Southern Gothic

Midnight Creep (2002) and his self proclaimed "jam comic from hell" Mantequilla del Pato (2003), with the incomparable Trevor Alixopulos. Black Sheep (2004) features his most ambitious work yet; the six-part "Neighborhood of the Beast" which explores the darker side of suburbia.

Noland has merged his love of history and comics in two incomparable works. The shocking-but-true Infallible (2011). With assassinations, massacres and trials of the dead, Infallible explores the dark recesses of the papacy. The book revisits some of the most perplexing, reviled and infamous characters in history. Includes the incredible Cadaver Synod. Major Taylor - World Champion (2016) brings to light the the largely-forgotten story of cyclist Marshall Taylor. At the turn of the century when racial prejudice wasn't just accepted, it was encoded in the law, Taylor broke the color line. A wheelman and racer without peer, Taylor's faith, integrity and discipline preserved him. He was a World Champion and his story continues to inspire.Other highlights
