O. S. Diamond

About Oneshia S. Diamond, also known as O.S. Diamond

I spent many years suppressing the growing urge to write for public consumption. The stories, thoughts, ideas, opinions, and observations were there, and I enjoyed the task. However, I found the thought of sharing those ideas debilitating. After all, these were personal musings. They involved personal information, actions and interactions. What would my mother think if she knew I held these ideas?

But one day, I threw caution to the wind and took the plunge. I have been flying ever since. The journey towards becoming and embodying the title of Author is filled with many hidden valleys and rising mountain peaks. I don't always like what forms on the page. Sometimes the information seems too transparent to be shared with the world. After all, the internet can be unforgiving. it is the thought that whatever I experience and share, may help guide some one else through whatever they may be experiencing. Maybe they, in turn, may be inspired to also share their knowledge and experiences to help shape the thoughts of another? Like a chain, each link building upon the other until it wraps around the universe.

These writings comprise of essays, quick thoughts, short stories ranging across many aspects of the human experience. I write to release and to grow. Otherwise, I would implode. The tales I share are my personal therapy. It is how I relate to the world in which we live and how I have learned to process the information and happenings that engulf us all throughout the days of our lives. These writings are my unique signature in the wet cement. My statement that I was indeed here.

I have discovered that my writings and musings are not mine own. It is not up for me to decide whether or not to share the experience. I have no choice in the matter. If left up to me, I would dwell within the secret caves of my mind, wandering the literature line corridors in silence and in peace. I no longer have that option. Our gifts are not ours to keep. So i share them, with all of you. Thank you for the opportunity to live and express. And welcome to the adventure.
