Danny Carpenter has been active in ministry for more than 40 years. He has a BA in Bible, an MA in Old Testament. Danny has pastored in the U.S., served as a missionary in Oaxaca, Mexico, and lived in Maturín, Venezuela working with the Dios es Amor Church, where he worked for 28 years. He helped to start a new church in a sector of the city, and assisted in developing, preparing materials for, and taught in the Ministerial Training Center, a church-based theological education program.
He worked as the head of the Bible Studies Department of Pro-META, an online Master's program for Latin American leaders. Currently he works with the ministry Unfolding Word/ Idiomas Puentes, helping to form a simplified translation off the Bible in Spanish to be used by indigenous groups Spanish- speaking countries to translate the Bible in their language.
He has two grown children and four grandchildren, and is married to Yulmari, who has two children of her own. They currently live in Walker, LA, and are planting a Hispanic church. They have a retriever/terrier mix named Gabe.
