Rebecca Milton

Rebecca Milton spends so much of her time daydreaming that it's a wonder she has managed to publish anything at all.

She is a writer from southeast England whose debut novel was released in August 2017. Mundane Magic is an introspective look at a mage trying desperately to be a good man, and a young woman who abruptly finds that magic exists, she and her best friend both possess it, and that her form of magic is the only thing that can stop a murderer.

Her second book, How to Forgive Yourself in Fifteen Years, is a poetry collection released in August 2019. It chronicles her recovery from a mental breakdown, and her experience of chronic depression and anxiety.

Her third book, Through the Wardrobe: An Exploration of the Embodied Experience of Live-Action Roleplaying, is a fusion of memoir, fantasy story and academic paper. It was released in January 2022, and is the publication of her MA Creative Writing dissertation, for which she received a distinction.
